Iowa Moving Forward with the "Enhanced" Nurse Licensure Compact and APRN Compact

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) membership approved the “Enhanced” Nurse Licensure Compact in May of 2015.  The adoption of the “Enhanced” Nurse Licensure Compact and APRN Compact will take legislative action. Over the course of 2016, articles and information have been distributed to educate nurses, legislators, and all stakeholders concerning the “Enhanced” Nurse Licensure Compact.
